There is something about Sesame Street that makes my son stop in his tracks and stare at the TV. Is he thinking that it is interesting? Or, is he thinking the same thing as me... What the heck is a wooly mammoth doing hanging out with a gigantic yellow bird and talking to people 'in the neighborhood'?
I've also wondered what the reason is for all of the puppets being monsters? Is it to try to show children that monsters are ok? I just really don't understand!
Elmo drives me insane, but once again, Cooper is fascinated by him. Why is it that children are attracted to loud, obnoxious, brightly colored puppets, but are completely panic-stricken upon the sight of Santa Clause?
Oh well... whatever gives me five minutes of peace.
